The Playhouse Deck, located in downtown New Hope, Pennsylvania, is a fun location for lunch, dinner or a drink! The Playhouse "Deck" is situated next to the Delaware River which allows for scenic water views while enjoying your meal and cocktail. The restaurant also sits adjacent to the Bucks County Playhouse Theatre which hosts a multitude of great live shows, stand-up comedy, concerts and more. During the summer, stop by The Deck's bar and take your beautifully curated cocktail to the ground level and relax in the Adirondack chairs while sipping your drink next to the river. This makes for a fun afternoon with friends!
I recommend making a reservation to try the scrumptious food and cocktails. For appetizers I enjoy the white bean hummus, burrata and crispy vegetables. The Deck has delicious signature cocktails - I like the Late Bloomer cocktail which has vodka, elderflower, grapefruit, citrus and grenadine. For entrees I enjoy the baby gem caesar salad with delicious sourdough croutons, the beet and baby arugula salad as well as the brussel crunch salad. After dinner, The Deck has a variety of fabulous dessert options from brownie tiramisu to vanilla gelato. If you are looking for a fun dessert cocktail, look no further! The Deck has multiple dessert cocktails. I suggest the Snickerdoodle Martini which consists of vanilla vodka, amaretto, Baileys, half and half and cinnamon simple syrup and the Espresso Martini made with vanilla vodka, cold brew and coffee liqueur.
The Deck is open Wednesdays through Sundays from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The service is excellent and the food and signature cocktails are delightful. The Deck has an uplifting and fun atmosphere that makes your waterfront dining experience one for the books!
