Narragansett is the perfect place to stop on your road trip to Newport, Rhode Island for a few hours or enjoy a few relaxing days soaking in the sun at the beach.
Narragansett is a beautiful town to visit anytime of year. Due to Narragansett being a beach town in the North East, I highly recommend visiting during the summer or warm days in the spring or fall.

Coast Guard House - is a delicious waterfront restaurant with outstanding sunset views and it also has a rich history. The Coast Guard House has ground level dining with both indoor and outdoor seating as well as a rooftop bar and additional seating. The Coast Guard House has a variety of wines, signature cocktails, beers and spirits and great appetizers and entrees. I highly recommend dining with friends and/or family at this fantastic restaurant.
BEST THINGS TO DO IN NARRAGANSETT, RHODE ISLAND:
Beach - Narragansett has beautiful beaches: Narragansett Town Beach, Scarborough State Beaches and Roger Wheeler State Beach. The beach is the perfect place to unwind, relax and enjoy a good book as well as the company of friends and family.
Hike - Explore the scenic hiking trails of Black Point and and Whale Rock. These trails have gorgeous waterviews and are phenomenal locations for bird watching.
The Towers - is an historic and iconic focal point in town. During the 1800's, The Towers were The Narragansett Pier Casino. Today, The Towers host various community events and stands proudly as an historic building on the National Registry of Historic Places.
Walk - Strolling along the waterfront is a peaceful way to begin your morning or end your day.
While you are visiting Narragansett, Rhode Island make sure to allow time to tour the surrounding areas, such as Newport, Point Judith, Watch Hill, Providence and more! These surrounding areas also have rich history with beautiful waterfront views.
