The Lawn, located at The Castle Hill Inn in Newport, Rhode Island is an elegant, upscale and classy fine-dining establishment with fabulous water views. The Lawn's uplifting and fun ambiance in combination with its delicious food and cocktails makes your dining experience memorable and outstanding. I recommend having a meal and cocktails at the Lawn with friends, a date and/or for a fun family outing. When dining at The Lawn, dress to impress!
The Lawn has indoor and outdoor seating as well as an outdoor terrace bar with full dining service. For cocktails I enjoy The Blueberry Lemonade which includes Stolichnaya Blueberry, Elderflower Liqueur and lemon as well as the Sage & Vice which consists of Grey Goose, grapefruit and charred sage. When ordering a meal, please note the dishes are served in large portions, so go hungry! For an appetizer I order the whipped feta dip with spicy honey, sesame seeds and grilled pita bread. Of the various entree options, I recommend both the Citrus and Beet Salad which has burrata, walnuts and blood orange vinaigrette over mixed greens as well as the caesar salad with butter-fried croutons and parmigiano. If you have room after your meal, The Lawn has tasty sweet treats including a mixed berry verrine, cookies and cream parfait, ice cream and sorbet and more!
The Lawn's indoor and outdoor dining is open daily from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Remember to make a reservation as the restaurant is very popular! The terrace bar is open daily from 11:30 AM to 6:00 PM and is first come first serve. The staff at The Lawn are attentive, accommodating and friendly.
