The Crossing Vineyards, located in Newtown, Pennsylvania, is a must-try winery with outstanding wines, an upbeat environment, indoor bar and seating as well as a beautiful patio and additional outdoor seating. This upscale and quaint winery is located a few minutes away from historic Washington Crossing. The Crossing Vineyard has group wine tastings, wine flights, wine by the glass or bottle as well as food. When you step into The Crossing Vineyard, you are welcomed into The Crossing Vineyard's family!
The Crossing Vineyard offers numerous weekly events, i.e. live music, wine and chocolate pairing, tarot card readings and wine tastings, yoga and mimosas as well as fun seasonal and holiday events. The Crossing Vineyard is the perfect location for a wine tasting and/or a glass or bottle of wine with family and friends any time of the year!
When arriving at The Crossing Vineyard you walk up stone steps into a beautiful floral paradise and wine grape vines. I highly recommend visiting during warmer weather to enjoy a glass or bottle of wine outside with friends and family! The Crossing Vineyard is open daily from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Thursdays after hours until 9:00 PM.
The most picturesque time to visit the winery is during Thursday after hours to watch the sunset from the outdoor patio. This fabulous view in combination with the delicious wine and peaceful environment is guaranteed to provide a relaxing evening.
The grape varietals are grown on The Crossing Vineyards' twenty acres. The Crossing Vineyards has a variety of wines: Rose, Red, White, Fruit and Dessert Wines. My favorite Crossing Vineyard wines are the fruit wines. The Apple, Peach and Wild Berry wines are delicious and you will not leave the Vineyard without a bottle of each! If you are visiting The Crossing Vineyards for the first time, I suggest purchasing a wine flight to determine your preference on the various wines.
While you are in town visiting The Crossing Vineyards make sure to allow time to tour the surrounding areas, such as Washington Crossing, New Hope, Peddlers Village, Doylestown, Lambertville, Princeton and more!
Happy Tasting!
XOXO,
Katy
